Disability Support Policy
Updated April 2009
Disabled Access and Facilities
Most of the site is wheelchair friendly (although please do bear in mind that it is in a field which may be rough and/or boggy). We do endeavor to ensure that the C.N.S.P is accessible to everyone. The Main Venue has a specific area for wheelchairs and all the other venues are easily accessed. A disabled toilet will be provided.
Concessions for Disabilities
If you are in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the Medium/ Higher Rate Care Component of the Disability Living Allowance then you are entitled to a concessionary ticket. Proof of this must be submitted when booking tickets. It would be best to contact us direct regarding concessionary tickets, details below. You are advised to book your tickets early as the number of concessionary priced tickets is limited. If you have any queries about this, or indeed any other matter, then you can us by email – [email protected]
Carers and Personal Assistants
If you are in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the Higher Rate Care Component of the Disability Living Allowance then you are entitled to ONE free carers ticket. This ticket must be booked at the same time as you book your initial ticket. Further carers tickets are available if certain circumstances require it.
Access
Blue Badge Holders are entitled to bring vehicles on site and to camp next to them. There is no charge for this. Proof of eligibility must be provided when booking tickets. On site parking permits must be booked at the same time as you book your tickets. When you arrive at the site you will be directed to the main event field gate, you can then drive directly onto the campervan field.
When you arrive in the camping field, stewards will assist you in parking and if you require will help you to unpack and to put up your tent. On site parking is controlled by Health and Safety Regulations and cars have to be parked in such a fashion that they face the Emergency Fire Lanes so that they can easily be driven off the site. Tents have to be erected so that guy ropes do not protrude into the access lanes where they might be a potential hazard for the visually impaired.
Guide Dogs
The only dogs allowed on site are guide dogs for the blind, hearing dogs for the deaf and registered assistance dogs. You may be asked to provide documentary evidence on arrival for your dog to be admitted.
