Food and Drink
2011 will see new opportunities to fill your plate with wonderfully tasty dishes. We are negotiating with some of the finest cooks on the festival scene to bring you an even better selection of beautiful breakfasts, scintillating snacks, luscious lunches and dreamy dinners!
The Stagger Inn
Our wonderful pub in a barn serves all kinds of alcoholic beverages and a selection of other drinks and nibbles. Local Ales, Cider, Wines, spirits and beer are on offer and for the very brave there’s the obligatory barrel of Johnny Evans Homemade Cider… Friday plays host to the pub quiz, one of CNSPs most popular activities.
Yam the Cassava Creole
Described as “the best food at any festival… ever” and patronised by the likes of Robert Plant, Yam the Cassava are set to return in 2010, offering different Gumbo dishes each day, accompanied by very moreish fritters – and of course, everything made with the best organic ingredients.
Pan.De.Mania Stone Baked Pizzas
Seriously, stone-baked pizzas!! All fresh ingredients, yummy!
A full sized wood fired pizza oven might sound impossible in the middle of a field, but the result is proper Italian style, fresh pizzas that melt in your mouth. Even the wood in the stove is responsibly sourced, and of course all ingredients are local and organic.
Shepherds Sheep’s Milk Ice Cream
If you need to cool down from the sun, the dancing or perhaps the prawn gumbo then the locally made Shepherds Sheep’s Milk Ice Cream is definitely the way to go.
Chai Shop
We were excited to have the Chai Shop as 2010’s new main eatery serving a mixture of Mediterranean treats, daily specials and middle eastern delights - and we are even more delighted to have them back in 2011!
All Day Breakfasts
Good old no-nonsense stuff - Bacon butties, tea & coffee.
Water, water everywhere…
But at CNSP all of the Tap Water on site is actually pure welsh water – completely chlorine free!
