The Main Venue in all its Solar Powered glory – come and marvel at the super duper sound and lovely luscious lighting! Those of you who have seen us at festivals over the years know what a great space the Croissant Neuf is and if you are a CN virgin then you are in for a real treat!

It’s frocks and frolics on Saturday evening in the Croissant Neuf tent where we are hosting our very own Masquerade Ball to the live latin sound of Almeida Girl and Le Grand Descarga. Bring your own glad rags and masks, participate in mask making workshops on site or purchase one from our Mask stall. Lots of fun and funky dressing up clothes can be found in our market area – from humble jumble to haughty couteur. Dress to impress, dance to en-trance and have a ball.

Our second stage comes to you from one of our long time collaborators on the solar scene. Sunny Jims is a 30ft dome that will host unplugged music sessions, cabaret and comedy until the early hours.
All compered by the salubrious master of ceremonies Mr Sunny Jim, who it has been said, has the silky smooth voice of Lee Marvin, the body and looks of Adonis and the personality of Beelzebub himself (no offence Satan!)

• Bring an instrument!! – We’ll be having open mic sessions for musicians, poets, comedians, rappers or anyone who just wants to get on stage and have a go!!

Keep an eye out for our large posse of wandering entertainers – clowns, magicians, stilt-walkers, and internationally renowned open-air cabaret artists such as:

• Skate Naked – daring acrobats
• Herbie Treehead – Slapstick, slack rope, comedian and compere
• Strawberry Jam – Clown
• Steve Kliskey – magic and mystery
• Loco ‘n’ Co. – fire extravaganza
• Laserman – weird
• Pete’Za – circus antics
• Scrap Dragons – puppets
