Site
The event is situated in a beautiful rural setting near Usk, Monmouthshire. For nine months of the year it is home to lots of sheep and cattle. It also incorporates a national heritage site, so please be respectful and stay within the designated event areas.
CNSP Team
All members of the festival team will be wearing name badges and will happily help you with any query. Dont be affraid to ask!
The Barrow Boys and Girls
Why you arrive on site you’ll be greeted by a team of friendly helpers who’ll assist you in transporting your camping kit from the car park to the camping areas. We also supply wheelbarrows and trolleys to make moving equipment easier.
Camping
The main camping field is a short walk from the car park. There are water provisions in each campsite as well as Fire Points and Recycling facilities. There are toilets next to the camping area. Camping at CNSP is free unless you are in a campervan or caravan, which are subject to charges. No matter where you camp on our site you will only be a maximum of a 5 minute walk from the events field. All the camping areas onsite have a stunning view out over the Usk Valley.
Camper vans & Caravans
There will be a small charge for live-in vehicles or caravans at the Croissant Neuf Summer Party, payable at the time of ticket purchase. The designated camper van area is of a limited size so if you are thinking of turning up in anything over 6metres long please contact us before purchasing your ticket. Also please inform us in advance if you wish to camp with other members of your party that are in tents. Our campsite staff will make every effort to maximise your camping comfort. We will plant 3 trees for every vehicle that arrives at CNSP.
Luxury Yurt and Tipi Hire
This year we have both Luxury Tipis and Yurts available for hire. More information on these can be found here.
Toilets
All toilets on site are fully serviced daily to ensure you have a pleasant experience whilst upon the throne. Regular checks will be made to make sure each cubicle is stocked with hand cleaner and fresh toilet paper.
Showers
There will be showers onsite, heated using either wood from sustainable sources or solar.
Animals
Unfortunately we cannot accept any animals on site, be it dogs, cats, pandas, llamas, walruses or any other type of mammal! Any that are found will be removed along with their owners.
Food
Croissant Neuf strive to keep all food onsite 100% organic and locally sourced. Our on site caterers serve high quality organic food at reasonable prices throughout the event. The Stagger Inn supplies a range of organic beers, cider, wines and spirits along with a full compliment of traditional pub snacks. We also have an oven baked pizza stall that makes fresh organic pizzas to order, definitely not to be missed!
Kids
Our kid’s area team makes sure there is plenty to keep the young ones occupied. For the older kids we have plenty of workshops, music and sports activities. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by someone of 18 years of age or older.
Disabled Access
Most of the site is wheelchair friendly (although please do bear in mind that it is in a field which may be rough and/or boggy). We do endeavour to ensure that the CNSP is accessible to everyone. The Main Venue has a specific area for wheelchair users and all the other venues are easily accessed. A disabled toilet will be provided.
Glass
Glass on site will not be permitted. Please bring cans or plastic bottles instead. Remember the site is home to livestock and we would not want any of them to end up being hurt after the event has finished. Remember to recycle.
First Aid
The fully qualified Emergency Response Team will be on site for the duration of the festival along with a fully staffed ambulance. We also provide fully trained first aiders should you require them. They will be located centrally at the festival in their own first aid tent.
Rubbish
Recycling facilities and bins will be located at various points around the site – please use them. Remember it’s home to livestock when we are not there, (who are very vulnerable to even small objects left in the grass) so please put all waste, including cigarette butts and ring pulls etc… in the bins provided.
Fires
We ask that people do not light fires in the camping areas out of respect of for the land and for health and safety reasons. There will be a fully stewarded communal campfire in the main field every evening.
