Venues

The Big Top

Croissant Neuf’s Big Top Solar Venue is the heart and soul of the Summer Party. It’s Europe’s biggest solar powered venue and has been the main Glastonbury “Greenfield” and Big Green Gathering venue for more years than we care to remember.
This year the Big Top will be hosting three days of live music and dance. Check out the Line-up page for more details.

The Floating Lotus Stage

Our second stage is based in three elegant geodesic domes with a powerful solar sound system and led lighting rig and will be showcasing the best underground folk, roots and electronica. Inside you will also find space to relax and take the weight off with a drink or a light snack.

The Stagger Inn

CNSP’s on-site pub is a home from home, based in the barn and boasting a selection of local and organic beers, wines and spirits including the exclusive ‘Croissant Neuf Summer Party Ale’ - brewed especially for the festival and only available on site.
By day a cosy, welcoming space perfect for relaxing with a pint, listening to an impromptu jam session or playing a game of skittles or darts. At night, transformed by state of the art, atmospheric LED lighting into the perfect meeting place with enough merriment and entertainment to keep you smiling well into 2011.

In the main field this year:

With beautiful views across the valley and a backdrop of lush green forest, the central field at Croissant Neuf Summer Party provides a wonderful space to just sit with friends, take part in one of the many workshops and activities or call in to one of the myriad of main field attractions.

The People’s Front Room

Following their storming debut at last year’s Summer Party and successful outings at music festivals around the UK, the People’s Front Room will be returning this year, bringing their unique venue - a very well appointed living room, along with an ethos of impromptu jam sessions on everything from accordion to trumpet. Expect this to be a hub of late night sing alongs but just as equally suited to an early morning chill out – they never seem to close!

Sensory Solutions

What better way to shrug off the stresses of daily life than to try some alternative remedies, courtesy of Sensory Solutions – one of the UKs leading apothecaries and providers of herbal remedies.

The Campfire

At the centre of the festival lies the communal campfire, surrounded by hand carved benches, this is the place for late night sing-a-longs, sitting down with a stone-baked pizza in the afternoon, a morning coffee or just generally soaking up the atmosphere - and the views of the valley are great from here too!

Around the rest of the site:

There is so much more to our wonderful site than the camping area and the main arena – the site is bounded by ancient woodland and a secluded ancient monument. Wind your way down the woodland path and you can find:
The Healing Area
Shiatsu
Reiki
Massage
Indian Head Massage
Reflexology

The Hill Fort

The Iron Age hill fort, planted with mature specimens of every native English hardwood tree and offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside is almost worth the admission price on its own.
