Animals

Unfortunately we cannot accept any animals on site, be it dogs, cats, pandas, llamas, walrus etc! Any that are found will be removed along with their owners

Barrow Boys & Girls

When you arrive on site you will be greeted by a team of friendly helpers who are there to assist you in transporting your camping kit from the car park to the camping areas. We also supply wheelbarrows and trolleys to make moving equipment easier.

Campervans and Caravans

There is a small charge for live-in vehicles and caravans at the Croissant Neuf Summer Party; see Tickets for more details.

The designated camper van area is of a limited size so if you are planning on bringing anything over 6 metres long please contact us before purchasing your ticket by [email protected]. Also please inform us in advance if you wish to camp with other members of your party that are in tents. Our campsite staff will make every effort to maximise your camping comfort and to offset the carbon footprint we will plant 3 trees for every vehicle that arrives at CNSP.

Camping

The main camping field is a short walk from the car park. There are water taps in each campsite as well as fire points and recycling facilities. There are toilets next to each camping area. Camping at CNSP is free unless you are in a campervan or caravan, which are subject to charges (see campervans and caravans above). All our campsites are never more than a 5 minute walk from the main events field and all have stunning views over the Usk Valley.

Cash Points

There are no cash points on site at CNSP. The nearest cash points are in Usk, however we ask that you bring coinage with you rather than go back and forth to the town. If you are buying day tickets on the gate please remember we do not accept debit/credit cards so please bring cash. For prices see our Tickets page for more details

CNSP Team

All members of the festival team will happily help you with any query (even requests for more loo paper). All our stewards can be recognised by their high-vis vests so don’t be afraid to ask!

Disability Policy

We try to keep CNSP open to all. Please see our FAQs (link to FAQ page) for more information or contact us by emailing [email protected].

Disabled Access

Most of the site is wheelchair friendly (although please do bear in mind that it is in a field which may be rough and/or boggy). We do endeavour to ensure that the CNSP is accessible to everyone. The main venues have a specific area for wheelchair users and all the other venues are easily accessed. Disabled toilets will be provided. Please see our FAQs for more information or contact us by emailing [email protected].

Fires

We cannot allow any fires in the campsites due to new restrictions by the local authorities. Please see our Please see our FAQs (link to FAQ page) for full information

First Aid

The fully qualified Emergency Response Team is onsite for the duration of the festival along with a fully staffed ambulance. Please make sure that, if you are taking regular medication, you have enough for the weekend. Our bands are not over- loud, but you may want to bring ear plugs and we recommend ear defenders for children who tend to gravitate to the front, near the speakers.

Food

Croissant Neuf strive to keep all food onsite 100% organic and locally sourced where possible. Our onsite caterers serve high quality food at reasonable prices throughout the event. The bars have a range of beers, cider, wines and spirits along with a full complement of traditional pub snacks. There is something for everyone from snack food to full sit down meals. We cater for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and lactose free. There is more information on all the delicious nosh available on our Food and Drink page.

Glass

We ask that you do not bring glass to the festival. Any you have inadvertently brought can be recycled on site (bottles & jars) but please check carefully before you come.

Kids

Our kid’s area team makes sure there is plenty to keep the young ones occupied. See what they can get up to in our What’s On section. For the older kids we have plenty of workshops, music and sports activities. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by someone aged 18+.

Rubbish & Recycling

As one of the UKs Greenest festivals [link to Green Ethics page] we are making a real effort to reduce the amount of waste generated this year, so please do your bit by bringing less. When you arrive on site you will be issued with recycling bags which we will sort on site. Please deposit the bags in the many recycling bins located round the festival- please ask a steward if you require any further advice.

This year we are kindly asking that if you have any non-recyclable waste at the end of the festival that you take it home and pop it in your wheelie bin!

We will be recycling the following;

CANS -Drinks cans and food tins in steel or aluminium

GLASS (we ask that you do not bring glass to the festival, but any you have inadvertently brought can be recycled on site) -Bottles & Jars

PLASTIC - All types of plastic packaging, including bottles, rigid plastic, bags and film

PAPER & CARD -Printer paper, newspaper, magazines, envelopes, white & brown cardboard, paper cups (empty please!)

ORGANIC COMPOSTABLE WASTE - Waste food, vegetable and meat products, dirty paper plates and wooden cutlery, compostable beer glasses (all “plastic” glasses given out from the bar are actually made from plant material and are fully compostable – PLEASE DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE PLASTIC RECYCLING!)

Showers

There are lovely hot showers available (for a small charge) with free high quality biodegradable soap and shampoo.

Site

The event is situated in a beautiful rural setting near Usk, Monmouthshire. For nine months of the year it is home to lots of sheep and cattle. It also incorporates a national heritage site, so please be respectful and stay within the designated event areas.

Toilets

Quite possibly the most sparkling loos you’ll find at a festival! All toilets on site are fully serviced daily to ensure you have a pleasant experience whilst upon the throne. Regular checks are made to make sure each cubicle is stocked with hand sanitizer and fresh toilet paper. If you do find an unsatisfactory toilet please inform a steward and we’ll get it cleaned/stocked up with loo paper & hand sanitizer ASAP.
